Melbourne Art Song Collective (MASC)
Link / Contact: facebook.com/MASC-Melbourne-Art-Song-Collective-178624182182060/
Melbourne Art Song Collective is one of the most fascinating musical groups in a busy local scene. The starting point for all MASC events is the presentation of art song in all its guises: from popular classics to neglected masterpieces. MASC draws on a wide range of singers, both established artists and the stars of tomorrow. Performances are further distinguished by the inclusion of chamber music and solo piano repertoire that puts art song into a richer context. MASC?s philosophy is that music should be appreciated in a comfortable and intimate environment. All MASC events take place in cabaret-style, so order a glass of wine to get ?up close and personal? with superlative performers.
